Teen Reading Bible

Faith Formation

For the young people in our community, this catechetical program is intended to culminate with the Eucharist. This religious program is based on Sunday liturgy and ministered by volunteer catechists from our parish. We help parents with their responsibilities as primary teachers of their children's faith by encouraging participation in:

Church Liturgy  I  Faith Sharing  I  Prayer  I  Community Service

Rite Of Christian Initiation Of Adults (RCIA)/Adult Religious Formation Rito se Inicia o Cristo de Adultos

If you are unbaptized (catechumen), a baptized non-Catholic, or a baptized Catholic who has not received the Sacrament of Confirmation, join our RCIA program. This program is geared to sharing the Catholic faith with adults. It begins in October and concludes at Easter when catechumens are baptized, confirmed, and given first Holy Communion at the Easter Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday night. Converts and unconfirmed Catholics will make a sacramental confession and also receive the Holy Eucharist during the Easter season. We encourage men and women who want to share their Catholic faith and life with candidates, catechists, and sponsors to become involved.

Counseling/Aconselhamento

One of the primary ministries of the priest is to enlighten our community with teaching the good news of Jesus Christ. This counseling extends beyond pastoral activity into issues outside of the church. We invite our parishioners to invite and lead members of our community who are in need of spiritual assistance.

Youth Ministry/Ministrio da Juventude de Parquia

Unite with our church family through our youth ministry. We strive to lead our youth to a deeper relationship with Jesus while helping them gain a fuller knowledge of what it means to serve one another, the parish, and the community at large. The Youth Group is the core of the ministry where young people participate in spiritual, social, and service activities. We invite all youth in our parish between grades eight and 12 to participate in these activities and events.
